Ward 5 deserves a local voice shaped by lived experience, deep community roots, and a genuine desire to make Peterborough better for our kids and families.
We often hear "every city is going through this."
I'm not a fan of that mindset.
Yes, Peterborough faces real challenges, housing, safety, mental health, keeping young people here. But I'm not interested in treating those challenges as inevitable. I want to focus on what we can do to make Peterborough stronger, smarter, and different.
I've spent eight years on the Board of the Peterborough and Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce, and I currently serve as a Director with the Kawartha Haliburton Children's Foundation. I've worked alongside dozens of local businesses and non-profits, helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for causes this community depends on, and built networks that connect people across every corner of this region.
That experience doesn't just look good on a resumé. It's exactly the preparation this role requires.
